About me
Konstantin Kastanis is the Managing Director of ELVAN S.A., a Greek industrial company that produces fixed structures for Solar projects, cable trays, support systems and lightning protection material.
Born in Athens in 1965, he graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.) B.Sc., focusing on Energy Systems (M.Sc.).
He also has an MBA degree from University of Indianapolis, where his dissertation was on: “Teachings of War History on Corporate Strategy and Leadership”. His involvement with renewable energy begun in 2006, when he became the company’s CEO.
From 2015 to 2021, the company grew at a CAGR of 33.6%, resulting in its inclusion in the Financial Times FT1000 list of the fastest growing companies in Europe.
His free time is mostly devoted to studying and playing chess.
