About me

Dr. George Perkoulidis has been a member of the teaching staff at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, since 1996. His primary activities and responsibilities include:

(a) delivering lectures on solid waste management and environmental engineering, and

(b) designing and implementing decision support systems for solid waste treatment and management.

He has participated in ten national and international projects, authored 27 journal articles, 96 conference papers, and various reports, studies, and other publications.

In 2025, he serves as a European Climate Pact Ambassador.
