I have an academic background specialized in renewable energy systems and environmental protection, as well as expertise in European funds. I have been developing business plans for companies for over 8 years. In recent years, I have focused on creating business plans with an emphasis on sustainability, aiming both to align businesses as closely as possible with sustainable criteria and to maximize their scores for funding eligibility. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering and Management, contributing to energy analyses for industrial companies with energy consumption above 1,000 toe per year. This idea came to me while working as an external evaluation expert for Romania's Ministry of Investments and European Projects. During project evaluations, differentiating based on carbon emissions reduction posed significant challenges for both evaluators and project developers, who struggled to integrate insights from the companies' energy assessments. In the European funds consultancy projects I handle, I focus on sustainability analyses, DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) assessments, and resilience analyses. I ensure that businesses incorporate DNSH criteria, thoroughly evaluating equipment through filters such as Climate Change Mitigation, Climate Change Adaptation, Sustainable Use and Protection of Water and Marine Resources, Circular Economy (including waste prevention and recycling), Pollution Prevention and Control (air, water, and soil), and Protection and Restoration of Biodiversity and Ecosystems.
