French Tourism Tech

What is “France Tourisme Tech”?

The aim of this program is to support the growth of high-potential travel tech companies — that is, companies developing innovative solutions applied to the tourism sector (improving the traveler experience, better managing tourist flows, etc.). To achieve this, the program provides support in open innovation, international expansion, and mentoring.

Since its launch in 2023, the France Tourisme Tech program has supported 25 companies across two cohorts, implementing a wide variety of technologies including data analytics, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and digital platforms.

What’s new for this third edition of France Tourisme Tech?

Building on its success, the program is being renewed for a third consecutive year with three key developments:

  • Opening to innovative companies seeking to diversify into the tourism sector;

  • A new training offer on public procurement, developed in collaboration with the Mission French Tech;

  • A major event in Brussels in fall 2025, aiming to bring together a European network of innovative tourism stakeholders.

Who can apply to this call for expressions of interest?

To be eligible for the program, companies must meet the following criteria:

  • Have their headquarters located in France;

  • Have an advanced level of technological maturity, meaning a complete system qualified through tests and demonstrations;

  • For companies that are not self-financed, have already completed at least one fundraising round;

  • Have successfully completed at least one Proof of Concept (POC) with a public or private client;

  • Be an independent company, with no more than 25% ownership by a larger group;

  • Use an emerging technology (e.g. AI, data, connected objects, metaverse/VR/AR/digital twins, blockchain/cryptography, cybersecurity) or offer an innovative hardware solution;

  • Have annual revenue of €40 million or less in 2024;

  • Be able to participate in the program’s in-person events (except for companies based in the French Overseas Territories): quarterly steering committees (COPIL) and participation in at least one-quarter of the Learning Expeditions (LEX) — approximately five.
