Spotlight on GenAI for Public Administration – Info Day (22 May 2025)
On 22 May 2025, policy makers, tech innovators, and public administrations came together in Brussels for the second GenAI for Public Administration Info Day. Held in hybrid format at the Committee of the Regions and co-organised by DG CNECT – AI Office and the Committee, the event aimed to support stakeholders preparing proposals for the ongoing Digital Europe Programme call on GenAI Pilots for Public Administrations - open until 2 September 2025.
The morning session featured an overview of the call by the European Commission and a lively Q&A, where participants raised key questions about eligibility, consortium requirements, funding, and strategic aspects of using GenAI in the public administration.
