About

AI-based power prediction and battery management technology are required to provide stable charging services while reducing the burden on the existing power supply chain. This study uses artificial intelligence to accurately predict the power demand of charging stations and aims to prevent fire and extend the life by remotely managing the state of the battery
In the case of Korea, there is no such solution, so KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) has difficulty in efficient power supply in the summer when power demand is high.

Development of AI-based power demand prediction model: It analyzes the power usage patterns of user-based EV charging stations, and builds prediction models by applying artificial intelligence models.
This study focuses on power prediction and battery management optimization using AI technology for efficient power operation of EV charging stations. Through this, we will contribute to the establishment of a sustainable EV charging infrastructure and provide a solution that can maximize energy efficiency. Through joint research, academia, industry, and public institutions will cooperate to lay the technical foundation for building a next-generation smart charging station.
