Pilot automated production line of electrical harness for device or vehicle

About

Wire harnesses are assembled manually across all industries. The labour and facility cost is very high. Quality is critical and change is difficult. Humans make mistakes and changing a production is slow. Automation can remove faults and reduce cost.

This project aims to demonstrate scale up capability through automation machinery. The Q5D process is flexible and has benefits of cost, production speed and quality. A harness produced without manual handling can be lighter, use less space and is not bound by price vs quantity. Every harness is produced from a digital design and each harness can be different.

An ideal partner will have a product ready to scale up. This can be anything from a car bumper or interior panel to an aircraft seat. A washing machine or an electrical cabinet from an industrial machine.
