CatalEdge: Catalytic Filtration Technology for Odor and Gas Removal
About
CatalEdge is a line of self-supporting catalytic filters based on catalytic activated carbon technology embedded in a mineral matrix. Designed for the removal of unpleasant odors, sulfurous gases, and other industrial gases, it effectively treats gases containing ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, and Volatile Organic Compounds, achieving almost 99% removal of odor-causing gases.
Key features include:
-
Self-supporting structure: Does not require floor anchoring, allowing for easy transportation and installation.
-
Compact and modular design: Ensures flexibility for integration into various systems.
-
High efficiency: Almost 99% removal of odors without generating secondary waste as part of its operation.
-
Durable construction: The filter body is made of carbon steel with 1 mm thickness, featuring CNC cutting, laser welding, and a two-layer polyurethane coating, providing high mechanical and chemical resistance for a long service life of 5+ years, even under extreme operating conditions.
CatalEdge uses 4 mm activated carbon pellets as a support medium, enriched with metallic catalysts. The system solubilizes gaseous components in the incoming air stream, then oxidizes sulfur compounds to odorless states in the catalytic reaction zone, using oxygen as the oxidizing agent. The result is odor-free air, ensuring a cleaner environment and compliance with high environmental standards.
CatalEdge systems handle airflow rates from 300 m³/h to 2800 m³/h, with automatic regeneration of the support medium.
