Mike Timmermans

Mike Timmermans is Manager International Innovation Cooperation and EU policy at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). In the Eureka network, he is National Project Coordinator (NPC) for the Netherlands, managing Eureka Clusters, Eurostars, GlobalStars and several high-tech programs, such as Chips Act and IPCEI.

Mike Timmermans was Chairman of the Eureka NPC network in 2019-2020. On Horizon Europe, he is managing the EU European Innovation Council Accelerator team at RVO. Dedicated to boost innovative SMEs and high-tech startups to scale up internationally.

Mike has a Master’s degree in international economics and started his career in consulting and later at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Netherlands Embassy in India. For the World Bank and International Finance Corporation, Mike was the representative in the Private Sector Liaison Officers network and trustfund manager.
