SLICE – Sustainability-Led Integrated Centres of Excellence

SLICE drives sustainable innovation through applied research partnerships in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and resource optimization. Key facilities include:

  • Biomaterials Testing and Prototyping (B-TAP)

  • Energy and Resources Lab

  • Research in Additive Manufacturing and Prototyping (RAMP)

DICE – Digital Integration Centre of Excellence

DICE is Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s digital innovation hub and the province’s first Technology Access Centre (TAC). It empowers small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through applied research in:

  • AI and machine learning

  • Data integration and visualization

  • Cybersecurity

DICE connects industry, students, and researchers to transform data into actionable insights, fueling growth and competitiveness in the digital age.

Centre for Continuing Education (CCE)

The Centre for Continuing Education equips industry with agile, workforce-ready training to drive innovation and resilience. CCE offers:

  • Customized training for industry needs

  • Micro-credentials and certificates in leadership, digital skills, project management, trades, and sustainability

  • Corporate partnerships to strengthen workforce capacity
