New sustainable and cross-sectorial value chains towards excellence in Technical Textiles
As a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network, AEP – Portuguese Business Association, CCI is working closely with the Textile Cluster in Portugal through the Hi-Tech-TEX project, designed to boost new sustainable and cross-sectorial value chains towards excellence in Hi-Tech Textiles, to foster the uptake of innovation and increasing competitiveness.
Co-funded under the COSME program from the European Union, Hi-Tech-TEX aims to strengthen cluster management excellence to increase the specialized technical textile innovation eco-system by encouraging the cross-sectoral and cross-regional collaboration to facilitate the uptake of green technologies within and beyond the partnership.
The High-Tech-TEX matchmaking event helps the project run the extra mile.
The Hi-Tech-TEX partnership is composed by six organizations, the Textile Cluster in Portugal, the advanced textile materials’ cluster AEI TÈXTILS in Catalonia, the textile association ATEVAL in Valencia, Next Technology Tecnotessile representing the Tuscany textile cluster in Italy, the technical textiles’ cluster CLUTEX in Czech Republic and Denizli Chamber of Commerce in Turkey.
Hi-Tech-TEX Specific Objectives:

To establish new integrated value chains;

To implement capacity-building programmes;

To better exploit the potential of clusters and combining different competences and innovative solutions;

To implement capabilities and capacities, and raise innovation potential by implementing the ClusterXchange pilot scheme with at least 80 short-term exchanges;

To develop and replicate a systemic approach to cross-sectoral SME innovation beyond HiTech-TEX.
