Faculty of Transportation Sciences FTS, CTU in Prague (Czech Republic) is seeking for partners in Mobility and security & safety topics

Researchers from FTS are looking for a partners within developing a project concept, which would contain of transportation topics and security research combination. Different security-oriented approaches and ideas are an integral part of every Transportation & Mobility issues and plays important role within their safe and sustainable development. Specifically, Smart cities, Green Transportation & Mobility and Air Traffic issues are facing wide range of risk management and various security issues, which needs to be the subject of investigation. A holistic approach is necessary step to obtain all the security issues. Nowadays, properly characterized and managed security and safety challenges are important players in new and upgraded Transportation & Mobility policies. By performing a scientific research of security and safety topics, a various important indicator can provide a “bigger picture” of Transportation & Mobility complexity. The ideal project concept will focus on one specific type of transportation (Road, Railway, Aviation, Marine Traffic) with further monitoring of the current state of the security and safety issues, statement of knowledge gaps, creation of ideas to improve the current state of the art, communication with related government bodies and designing of the set of the new improvements within the implementation of specific solutions on city or community levels.
