I used to work for the fire brigade as and now I work at university. My research focus include Fire and explosion safety and virtual reality.

We focus on several key areas: Industrial Safety: Investigating methods to enhance safety protocols in industrial settings, mitigating risks to workers and facilities., Occupational Health: Conducting studies to improve workplace health conditions, ensuring the well-being of employees across various industries., Environmental Protection: Developing strategies to minimize environmental impact and prevent hazards to ecosystems and communities., Disaster Management: Researching efficient disaster response and recovery techniques, aiming to reduce the impact of emergencies on society. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and access to cutting-edge facilities, we strive to: Develop advanced methodologies, technologies, and policies for comprehensive safety solutions., Address contemporary challenges and contribute to global safety practices., Train future leaders in safety engineering through innovative research and education. 1991 to 1995 - Army of the Czech Republic, employed as an aeronautical technician

  1998 to 2001 - Fire Brigade of Ostrava - repression, firefighter

  2001 to 2003 - Fire Rescue Corps of the Moravian-Silesian Region - deputy commander of the unit   

  since 2003 - Fire Rescue Corps of the Moravian-Silesian Region - unit commander

  since 2010 - Teaching at the Faculty of Safety Engineeering, subject: fire tactics, emergency management, case studies
