About me

I have thirty years of experience in the field of fire protection and risk management. Throughout my career, I have worked in various positions in the security sector, starting as a frontline firefighter and ending in roles in top management. I have always strived to bridge theory and practice. I have expertise in implementing safety measures within rescue and security services, planning, and utilizing new technologies in fire safety. I focus on fire and explosion dynamics, as well as fire tactics and strategy. I am particularly interested in the interaction between the intervention process and changing the dynamics of an emergency or disaster, seeking effective solutions to complex problems at the interface of accepting inevitable realities and effectively influencing conditions.

I have worked on EU development programs and served as an expert for the European Commission's DG ECHO. I aim to fulfill a similar role in my academic career. I am interested in projects where I can apply my knowledge and experience in the areas I specialize in
