Shield Design and ASIC Integration for Protecting ICs Against Invasive Hardware Attacks
About
Integrated Circuit (IC) technology is critical in applications such as secure communication, cryptographic systems, financial transaction processing, and medical devices, making it a prime target for invasive hardware attacks such as Micro-probing and Focused Ion Beam (FIB) techniques. These attacks exploit vulnerabilities in IC physical structures, bypassing traditional software-level security measures. We would like to introduces a comprehensive methodology for designing and integrating a multi-layer shields into digital ASIC workflows to counter such threats.
