Hasan Erdem Yantır received the B.Sc. degree in computer engineering and electrical and electronics engineering from Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2011, the M.Sc. degree in computer engineering from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree from The University of California at Irvine, Irvine, CA, USA, in 2018. He was an Engineer with Ford Motor Company, Istanbul, from 2012 to 2013, and Ericsson, Istanbul, from 2011 to 2012. He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, from 2018 to 2021. He is currently a Chief Researcher at the TÜBITAK-Informatics and Information Security Research Center, Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey and an Assistant Professor at the Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul, Turkey. In ITU, he teaches the classes on integrated circuit and processor design. His current research interests include digital/mixed-signal IC design, AI accelerator architectures, neuromorphic computing, in-memory computing, computer architectures, and reconfigurable computing.
