The foundations of Brisa were laid with Lassa, which was established back in 1974 with the initiative of Sabancı Holding and its partners. It was named Brisa as a result of the partnership which ensued between the Sabancı Group and Bridgestone Corporation, the world's largest tire manufacturer, in 1988.
In June, I had the opportunity to present my graduation project at the 14th National Chemical Engineering Congress, where I shared my work with many colleagues and leading professors in the field. Additionally, I successfully completed the TÜBİTAK 2209-A project, where I developed bifunctional core-shell catalysts that offer stable and high DME selectivity for the direct production of DME from syngas. I conducted activity tests using a continuous flow packed column reactor system with the direct synthesis method. This project aims to enable the use of DME as a fuel with high efficiency, without requiring modifications to vehicle engine components.
I have been working as an R&D engineer at Brisa Bridgestone Sabancı for three years, gaining valuable experience in rubber compounding. Currently, I am pursuing an MSc in Engineering Management at Kocaeli University.
