About me

I am currently working at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Midwifery. My associate professorship is in Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, with a focus on education, research, and innovative applications in pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, and breastfeeding. Specifically, I aim to explore and develop artificial intelligence-supported skill and simulation applications in midwifery education.

My research encompasses a broad spectrum of health issues encountered during the reproductive process and within the field of women's health. In addition to my studies on infertility, I conduct research on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, and breastfeeding. My work includes topics such as nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, postpartum episiotomy management, breastfeeding assessment, family planning methods, young women's knowledge levels regarding human papillomavirus (HPV), and their attitudes toward vaccination. In the future, I aspire to integrate artificial intelligence into all these domains to advance both research and clinical practice.
