First-In-Class, CXR-based Osteoporosis screening

Leo Ha

Business Development Manager at Promedius Inc.

Seoul, South Korea

About

  1. Since Osteoporosis is an asymptomatic disease, CXR-based disease screening methods can be used as effective early detection tools for these high-morbidity diseases.

  2. Promedius’s deep-learning-based OsPor-screen model found a correlation between DEXA scan images and simple CXR scan images that can ensure financial incentives for disease screening than costly conventional methods through external validation.

  3. Considering the global trend of AI adoption in healthcare, we believe our robust OsPor-screen model can be covered by reimbursement entities to help early detection of osteoporosis and patient monitoring.
