B2B Meetings - How does it work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners in face-2-face talks. 20 minutes run fast but usually it is enough to build first connections, then the bell rings and the next talk starts.
Onsite Matchmaking
- Lunch Session in the Auditorium4, CouR4 room and FoyeR4 from 12:30-14:00
Matchmaking is also available in the morning and afternoon. If you prefer not having meetings during the event lectures, please block your availability for these time slots.
-
Morning Session in the CouR4 room from 11:00-12:30
-
Afternoon Session in the CouR4 room from 14:00-16:00
Participants will have the opportunity to schedule 20 minute meetings with other participants before the beginning of the event. Dedicated matchmaking rooms will provide the necessary privacy to hold beneficial meetings.
Step 1 - Register for the event
Register for the event in order to see all participants who are available for matchmaking.
During the registration you are required to provide the following information:
-
Your name and job position
-
Your organization’s name and a short description
-
Your availability for meetings, this defines whether other participants will be able to book meetings with you during the event.
-
Your area of expertise
Step 2 - Complete your profile / marketplace entries/ organisation page
In addition to the information entered during registration, participants are able to add details about their businesses by creating opportunities entries shown in the marketplace. They can describe the products and the services they offer, they can state what they are looking for in a partnership, or the reasons why they are interested in a project cooperation. The opportunities entries can be added and edited in the participant's profile.
Participants can also establish an organisation page where they can provide more details about their company.
The organisation's page, along with each entry in the marketplace, enhances the chances to find suitable business partners for meetings.
Step 3 – Find suitable meeting partners
You will be able to search the participants list to identify suitable partners. Check which profiles are the most interesting for you and use the selection criteria available to bookmark interesting profiles.
Step 4 - Send & receive meeting requests and messages
Browse participant profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event. Send out messages to interesting participants to introduce yourself and initiate conversations even before the event to establish stronger connections. You can manage your availability for the meetings in 'Availability' in the upper right corner of the networking page.
Step 5 - My schedule and meetings overview
Access your meetings in ‘My Schedule’ or Meetings, where you have your complete schedule for the event, as well as the list of your meetings, indicating the date, time and table number of your accepted meetings. Please don't be late!
If you are not able to attend the event for any reason, you can cancel the meetings or your attendance in your profile.
Step 6 – Download the B2Match app
