Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) we capture, combine and analyse data from a wide range of sources to measure disease burden and create predictive insights increasing the quality of health care. Our company runs on the enthusiasm and the skills of an amazing multidisciplinary team of machine learning architects, bioinformatics, medical and public health experts.
We look beyond routine programmatic data and include risk factors such as population density, sociodemographic data, access to health facilities, road networks, literacy level and vulnerability to predict the risk of the disease at neighborhood level.
Our partners use this information for more efficient case-finding interventions, diagnostic network optimization, improved service delivery and facilitating monitoring and evaluation.
About me
As a Global PubIic Health Manager at EPCON, Antwerp, Sumbul works with NGOs, research institutes and government bodies from low and middle income countries. She collaborates closely with local and international organizations to support their operational and implementation research projects for the control of infectious diseases like Tuberculosis, Leprosy, Covid 19. Most of her projects are focused on predictive modelling and high resolution mapping of disease hotspots. She supports the country teams with planning of active case finding interventions, mHealth solutions and digital data platforms. She currently works with partners in South East Asia and Africa for successful implementation of public health interventions in the communities. She is also responsible for writing grant proposals, concept notes, reports and scientific publications at EPCON, Belgium.
