Robert Rubinstein has been an integral thought leader for the Triple Bottom Line Investment Industry for many years. His mission, spearheaded by the organization Triple Bottom Line (TBLI) Group, is to create an inclusive values based economy and change the financial system so it works for all stakeholders.

TBLI is a concept that Rubinstein pioneered, which puts forward the notion that a truly sound investment is one that provides, not just financial rewards, but social and environmental ones, as well.

Our Approach

For more than 25 years, TBLI Group has built the ecosystem for the Impact Investing and ESG community through advisory, educational and networking services. Before ESG, Impact, GIIN, UNPRI, CDP, EVPA or AVPN, TBLI was building the ecosystem to allow ESG and Impact to take hold

TBLI Group’s signature event TBLI CONFERENCE™ was the longest-running and largest global forum to bring together investors, asset managers and thought leaders in sustainable finance for networking, peer-to-peer learning and finding new business opportunities. It was convened more than 40 times across Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America.

TBLI has raised significant capital for investment by introducing new business partners and mobilizing capital for sustainable investment. Among numerous initiatives TBLI has partnered with SWIFT, ABP Pension Fund, NYSE Euronext, European Union and initiated institutional investors for the Carbon Disclosure Project.

Until now, social impact has primarily been driven by non-profits, environmentalists and philanthropists and has recently grown to mainstream capital markets.

TBLI aims now to marry its history and dedication in the social impact space along with expertise in the global capital markets by dedicating resources in transactional services.
