About me
Marie Ringler is a member of Ashoka's Global Leadership Group. Ashoka has been building the field of Social Entrepreneurship in 90+ countries, supports 4000+ of the world’s most impactful Social Entrepreneurs, and works towards a world where Everyone is a Changemaker. She is also Vice-President of European Forum Alpbach and holds degrees from the Universities of Vienna, St. Gallen, and ESADE Business School. In her youth, she co-founded a tech-art institution and served as its director. In 2001, she became the youngest Vienna's Regional Parliament and City Council member but left politics for Ashoka in 2011. Since then, she has served on the board of the Austrian Public Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) and has been on numerous award juries. She is a sought-after speaker at international events and conferences for her bold and creative thinking on systems change, philanthropy, rethinking democracy, and leadership for the 21st century.
My organisation
Ashoka builds and cultivates a community of Social Entrepreneurs, Young Changemakers, Changemaker Institutions, and beyond who see that the world now requires everyone to be a changemaker – a person that sees themselves as capable of creating large-scale, positive change.
Together, amidst the exponential growth of a new inequality in changemaking at a worldwide scale, we mobilize (and accelerate) a movement to build an "Everyone a Changemaker" world where all people have the right and ability to co-lead solutions that transform their societies for the better.
