Info Day On The 2024 Calls For AGRIP
Presentation of our event
In relation to the publication of the 2024 Calls for proposals for grants for information provision and promotion measures concerning agricultural products, DG Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and the European Research Executive Agency (REA) organised the annual Info Days. This year the Info Days took place on-site in Brussels as well as online, over two days.
The first day was dedicated to policy aspects. Speakers from the European Commission discussed the priorities of the 2024 Annual Work Programme and new opportunities for the EU related to the sustainability agenda.
The second day focussed on the development of successful campaigns. The participants had the opportunity to listen to presentations by REA officials, external experts and projects’ coordinators. The presentations of the day highlighted several challenging aspects, such as addressing well the award criteria in 2024 programme proposals, integrating the work packages as well as budgetary aspects. The presentations focussed on how to set a good campaign strategy and how to successfully develop communication campaigns, with examples and key learnings. We looked into eligibility rules as well as discussed challenges and expectations. As good practice examples, four ongoing projects were presented.
As part of this event, matchmaking sessions dedicated to interaction between eligible potential project partners were organised on-site only with a view to submitting multi-beneficiary proposals.
