InnovateUkraine 2025 - Networking and Registration

Welcome to InnovateUkraine 2025

See the Events tab for the Full Competition Briefing recording in English and Ukrainian along with the slide decks.

InnovateUkraine is a funding competition which aims to support and develop the energy innovations which will aid the recovery and restoration of Ukraine. The programme is funded by UK International Development and led by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), with the support of its partners. From February 2025 this website will become the portal through which to understand the competition scope and eligibility, to find partners and ultimately to apply for the InnovateUkraine Competition.

We will also host a series of webinars and 1:1 virtual meetings to discuss project opportunities and facilitate introductions between organisations to help identify and develop energy related innovations which are critical to Ukraine's recovery. The competition will formally open on the 10th March 2025 but the collaboration and networking platform is open early to allow prospective applicants to prepare, locate and network with potential project partners.

InnovateUkraine makes available up to £14.5m to support businesses to develop highly innovative, sustainable energy technologies and business models which can specifically support the recovery of Ukraine’s energy system. The InnovateUkraine competition is open to both UK and international participants, please review the page on Eligibility for further details.

Potential applicants can receive a full brief and access to the application portal by registering their interest via this website. These resources will only be available to those who have registered and will not be made available on the public site. Once your registration is accepted and approved, you will have access to the platform which will enable you to network with other collaborators on the platform and also to raise questions and seek help from our support team.

Please note that registration does not oblige any potential participant to apply. Also please note that project registration requires a manual verification process and may take up to 72 hours (more at particularly busy times) for your account to be activated and approved. Please register as soon as possible and we appreciate your patience whilst we approve your details.

Please note that to access the "Events" and "Apply" sections of the website, you must be registered, logged in, and your profile must be approved by a member of the programme team.

Please see the Matchmaking page to see how the virtual networking scheme operates.

Please see the timeline page for further details on key dates. Further detail will be added close to the competition launch date. We recommend that potential applicants register early, and start to seek the necessary partnerships needed to apply for this competition in advance of the competition opening date.
