EEA and Norway Grants: Business Cooperation and the European Green Deal

Innovation Norway invites you to a two-day event in Sofia to discuss business possibilities within the European Green Deal. The European Green Deal aims to turn climate and environmental challenges into opportunities across policy areas, creating extensive possibilities for European businesses. Join to meet with 100 of the most green and innovative businesses from Central/Southern Europe, Norway and Iceland!

The event "Business Cooperation on the European Green Deal" takes place on 4-5 June 2024. The event will gather businesses, clusters, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders from 12 European countries in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event website is here!

Who can participate?

The event is organised in cooperation between the 12 partners in the EEA and Norway Grants. These are: Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Slovakia.

We invite businesses, clusters, associations, research institutes and others from these countries to join the event and the matchmaking.

This is a physical event, and the matchmaking will happen on site.

Once your registration is confirmed you will find a list of European partners from the 12 countries willing, ready, and able to cooperate on the goals set out in the European Green Deal. The European Green Deal in the EEA and Norway Grants for Business Development, Innovation and SMEs

The EEA and Norway Grants aim to reduce economic and social disparities in Europe and strengthen bilateral relations between Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein and the beneficiary countries.

The EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021 provide 320 million euro in support to 10 programmes on Business Development, Innovation and SME in 10 countries in Europe. The programmes support projects on business innovation, value creation and competitiveness in the marine, maritime, curcular economy, green tranistion sectors and more!

The projects develop new technologies, processes or solutions contributing to strengthen a sustainable blue economy and to support the green transition in the beneficiary countries, and their cooperation with Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.
