About me

Rossen Papazov has been the CEO and a member of the Management Board of Holcim Bulgaria AD since September 2020. Holcim Group presence in Bulgaria encompasses the cement plant situated in Beli Izvor, Vratsa region, along with the aggregates producers Holcim Karierni Materiali AD-Sofia and Holcim Karierni Materiali Plovdiv AD. Additionally, there are RMX plants in Sofia and Plovdiv, as well as Geocycle Bulgaria EOOD, which is involved in the supply of alternative fuels for cement production. Rossen Papazov holds a Master degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, as well as a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. His tenure at Holcim commenced in 2000 as a Business Development Manager. Between 2004 and 2007, he served as General Manager of Holcim Bulgaria Aggregates and RMX business. From 2007 to 2020, he occupied senior management roles across various companies within the Group, spanning Europe (including positions as Marketing Director at Holcim Belgium, Commercial Director at Holcim Romania, and CEO at Holcim Azerbaijan) and Africa (CEO of Lafarge South Africa). Before joining Holcim, he worked as a financial expert at Arthur Andersen and the World Bank in Eastern Europe.
