Yunding Resort Secret Garden (YSG) is one of China's top mountain resorts and world-class snow parks. It was co-founded by Malaysian VXL Group chairman Datuk Lim Chee Wah and Malaysian Genting Group Chairman Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay.
The project has a planned area of 100 square kilometers and a total investment of RMB 18 billion. It’s planned to build 88 snow slopes, 70 kilometers in total length, and equip 22 cableways that will extend about 30 kilometers in total.
ROAD TO OLYMPICS
Yunding Snow Park, one of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Winter Paralympic Games venues, will hold 2 disciplines, 20 events on the 6 Olympics-class trails. Mountain Media Center of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics is located in the venue, which is remodeled from current Yunding Grand Hotel. it has 265 rooms and suites in addition to 83 apartments and 81 youth hostel, all equipped with double bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Families of 4-6 persons can stay here at ease. On the second and third floors, there are 53 young guests’ rooms and 28 standard rooms newly built to meet different customer needs. Offering wonderful experience in Chinese and western food, fitness and SPA services.
Wen Shu is the CEO of Zhangjiakou Yunding Snow Park Management Group. He once served as the Deputy Director of Logistics for the Yunding Venue Cluster during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
Currently, as the CEO, Mr. Wen Shu is fully responsible for the overall operation and management of the ski resort and its supporting hotels within the Miyun Yunding Resort.
In 2014, Wen Shu joined the management team of Miyun Yunding Resort as a Senior Vice President, focusing on the overall management of the company. He was deeply involved in all stages of the bidding, preparation, and hosting of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics. He participated in the design and renovation projects of the Yunding Snow Park, a competition venue for freestyle and snowboard events during the Winter Olympics, and the Zhangjiakou Mountain News Center, a non-competition venue.
In 2020, with the establishment of the venue team of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, due to his professional operation and team management capabilities and rich ski resort operation experience, Mr. Wen Shu was appointed Deputy Director of Logistics of the Yunding Snow Park Venue Operation Team. He was mainly responsible for eight areas of work, including infrastructure construction, mountain operation, power supply, waste disposal, fuel management, visual image design, orientation system setup, and barrier-free facility construction. Under his leadership, the Yunding Snow Park provided solid support and guarantee for the successful holding of the two international events.
Currently, he is leading the operation and management team of Yunding Snow Park to be deeply involved in the operation and organization of the Trojena Resort in Saudi Arabia.
