Sinay is a technology start-up that helps maritime companies around the world manage their data to optimize their operations and reduce their environmental impact thanks to the Sinay Hub. The Sinay Hub is a unique platform where data is collected and transformed using advanced AI technologies to create key indicators. These key indicators are grouped into modules that address major issues. In 2017, the project – at the time called the AIMS platform – was certified by the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique with the aim of developing the technical bases of the Sinay Hub and a first use case around underwater acoustics. Each module responds to a use and focuses on a specific environmental or logistical problem such as air quality, water quality, airborne noise, underwater acoustics, marine life, but also the route optimization, route planning, ETA forecast or CO2 emission reduction. The Sinay Hub allows ports to increase their efficiency and easily comply with current regulations.
Sinay helps maritime corporates to conciliate business efficiency with ocean sustainability.
Sinay develops the Sinay Hub, a unique software platform that gathers and analyzes more than 350TB of worldwide maritime-related qualified data with Artificial Intelligence. The Hub provides environmental & logistic predictions for diverse maritime use-cases for the offshore energy, the shipping industry or even the marine biodiversity protection. In addition, to answer the growing digitalization of the shipping industry, Sinay provides APIs.
Sinay ‘s software and APIs monitor:
- metocean data to plan and manage the offshore operation,
- underwater acoustics and environmental data to quantify and analyze underwater noise pollution generated by human activities
- logistic related data to track container or vessel
Using Sinay’s solutions, maritime companies drastically reduce their time and cost for searching the right information and increase their operation efficiency as well as reducing their impact on ocean biodiversity.
