Attending the matchmaking event offers a convenient and efficient method to connect with potential investors. This is how we work.

1. Register for the event

   You can only register after being invited. Participation is on admission basis. We ask organisations to come with one person. In this way as many investors and startups can join.

2. Create your profile to showcase who you are and for what are you looking for

   Your profile is visible for all types of attendants in the matchmaking. Create a clear and concise non-confidential profile on the b2match platform. Describe your venture and team and preferably some information on the technical, commercial and financing stage you are at. You can also give information on round size and capital raised untill now. Decide what you want to share on this public profile to raise interest. You can share more details later one-on-one.

3. Browse profiles of investors

   Go to the participants list to find out who you could meet at the event. Look carefully on the profile and their website if the investor has a fit with you (phase, domain, ticket size and other aspects). Use the filters on the right to narrow down your selection and find the most suitable investor.

4. Send & receive meeting requests and messages

   Browse participant profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event. You can send out messages or questions to investors to introduce yourself. Each investor can only a plan a limited amount of meetings. See rejections as learing points for reaching your goal and saving valuable time. Get as much feedback as possible and when your venture is to early in development: ask which milestones are relevent for them.

5. My schedule and meetings overview

   Access your meetings in My Schedule or Meetings, where you have your complete schedule for the event, as well as the list of your meetings. Please note: after acceptance of matchmaking meetings we are counting on on your attendance!

6. Prepare well

   20 minutes run fast, but they are crucial for building initial connections as they provide a targeted way to meet and connect with potential investors, allowing both to personally connect and exchange main relevant points to evaluate a potential fit for further talks and exchange of information.

Is a schedule of an investor full? Find or agree to shake hands during the open networking moment at the end of the event or agree to plan a meeting outside the event. You can also meet with another startup. Planning a meeting goes in the same way as with an investor.

How does the marketplace work?

The marketplace option is meant for the participating service providers. You can find them on our networking floor. If you are not a service provider on the networking floor you can also request a post on the marketplace. It goes for approval to the organisers first.
