In 2009 we discovered the advantages of plastic filters that are seawater resistant and sustainable. All clients are very enthusiastic about our applications!
My organisation
Since more than 10 years we design and deliver HDPE filters for seawater inlets, scrubbers and bilge water. No more corrosion, lightweight, smooth/no fouling, strong and impact resistant. They are easy to handle and to clean. We also supply the complete set of GRE strainers, crossover and piping!
We deliver the filters standard and custom made either from drawing, help to measure them in or copy the metal filter in HDPE. We recently also started supplying filters for plate coolers.
As accepted under IMO-rules we already delivered more than 3500 filters custom made in all sizes. We have very good references of all our clients that came from rusting metal filters and now have much lower maintenance and operating costs!
Our clients are builders and owners of commercial ships like Damen / IHC and superyachts like Feadship, Heesen, Oceanco, Mulder, Royal Huisman and others.
Besides these problem solving filters we have learn from bad experiences of competing items in the past and improved the heating blankets and shavers to the highest standard. You cannot get them better than this!
About me
In 2024 I started STC Trade to improve the shipbuilding industry with innovations. I enjoy the pleasure to design and supply new filters for (super)yachts and commercial ships that are mostly custom made. To be able to replace corroding metal filters and make them sustainable, light weight and recyclable makes a contribution to the environment.
I am married for over 35 years, we have two childeren and one little grandchild girl. My wife owns a shop for formal wear where she dresses our government for special occasions.
