Bernhard Nussbaumer

Bernhard Nußbaumer holds an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Vienna University of Technology and has also completed his MAS in Business Administration and Engineering as well as his EMBA in Entrepreneurial Management in Vaduz (University of Liechtenstein).

Notably, in 2005, he was a member of the pre-seed team (co-inventor and business idea creation) of the spin-off company Pantec Biosolutions AG, which develops medical laser systems for transdermal drug delivery. As a board member of Pantec Engineering AG, he established and led the business unit "Medical Laser" to success.

As General Manager, he led the "Medical Applications" business unit of Berliner Glas KGaA to significant growth.

In 2018, he joined ACMIT GmbH as CBDO and, since 2024, has held a majority stake in the company together with a partner from the management team. Under his leadership, ACMIT evolved from a translational R&D center for medical technology to a renowned expert in medical device development and ramp-up manufacturing (ACMIT Manufacturing). At the beginning of 2025, ACMIT expanded its range of services to include venture-building services and established ACMIT Ventures, which acts as a "technical" lead investor, investing in early-stage medtech start-ups together with co-investors.
