About me
I am a post-doctoral research fellow on the SmInt project at Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, Germany. This interdisciplinary initiative has allowed me to work at the intersection of academia, research, and industry, driving sustainable innovations and fostering impactful partnerships. I received my Ph.D. in 3D weaving and structural composites from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi).
Previously, as a seasoned senior research fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), I developed 3D woven preforms and composites and conducted experimental research in the area of lightweight engineering materials for advanced engineering applications. My contributions transcend borders, reflecting rare skills that have global implications. Beyond specialized 3D weaving operations, I bring extensive experience in mechanical testing methodologies and non-destructive testing using SEM and X-ray Micro CT. I actively contribute to innovative solutions for 3D weaving and fiber-reinforced structural composites across diverse industrial applications. As a visiting researcher at TU Dresden, Germany, I had the opportunity to deepen my expertise by exploring the dynamic mechanical properties of these composites, employing advanced techniques. These experiences have broadened my global perspective while equipping me with specialized skills in the manufacturing and characterizing of 3D woven fabric-reinforced composites.
With a dynamic career spanning Bangladesh, China, India, and Germany, I've honed my skills as an ambidextrous engineering professional with a robust academic foundation. Collaborative research ventures with Germany have enriched my perspective, amplifying my capacity to contribute effectively in diverse international settings. Beyond academia, my strong connections with textile industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, traders, and buyers, underscore my versatility. Serving as a key negotiator in crafting impactful collaborations, MoUs, and academic exchange policies, I bridge academia and industry, making significant strides in the intersection of research, innovation, and international relations.
My journey includes pivotal roles in multinational corporations, focusing on business development, marketing, strategic market development, and international business. Coupled with my experience in multicultural tertiary education, this background equips me with a nuanced understanding of the global academic landscape. I am a multifaceted professional adept at driving research, fostering innovation, and nurturing international collaborations, poised to make meaningful contributions in both government and private sectors.
