Michele, the founder, was born in San Severo, Puglia in the 1930s. He grew up in a family that dedicated all their energy to the production of wine and oil since 1720.
Michele had a dream: to make Peranzana Extra Virgin Olive Oil known throughout the world. In 1987, his dream began to take shape. After much hard work and with the savings of a lifetime, he founded LeFascìne. A mill that is based on the integration between the most modern equipment and the mastery of traditional agricultural systems, along with a strict production protocol:
- harvest on the plant
- transformation within 24 hours
- cold extraction.
All this to allow the creation of a label that could be recognized worldwide as a synonym of Excellence. But he faced a harsh reality, made up of unfair competition and a vague regulation that is not friendly to honest producers. Year after year, a life spent fighting not to give in to mediocrity.
He succeeded.
We know well that he didn't fully realize his dream. But MICHELE NEVER GAVE UP.
Today, it is with this lesson that we, Michele's children, continue to produce our LeFascìne Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
