The Tartufi Alfonso Fortunati, today Fortunati Stocchi S.r.l., was founded in 1972 by the passion and intuitions of the founder Alfonso Fortunati who, together with his wife Annunziata, passed on to their children the love and enthusiasm to continue the family tradition with the same values. The farm is located in Campello sul Clitunno, in the heart of Umbria, a region famous for the black truffle, known and appreciated all over the world. In the very first periods of activity the company’s core business is strictly oriented to the marketing of fresh truffles. Over the years, the demand of customers leads the company to grow and invest in the business, while always maintaining its original artisanal nature and an ethical approach aimed at promoting and safeguarding the territory. The processing of truffles follows highly complex techniques, which, always respecting an ancient tradition, allow the company to obtain the best possible relationship between product quality and quality perceived by the end customer. Food safety, the maintenance of the balance man/ nature and the commitment to use only high quality and highly selected materials are the guiding thread to all the work of Fortunati Stocchi.
