My name is Antonio and I am a tour guide of Sardinia. I run a company that deals with touristic services with my wife Gosia (she is also tour and hiking guide)
Hello! My name is Antonio and I am a licensed tour guide of the Region of Sardinia, N. 1174. I have a degree in
Foreign Languages and Literature and also have a diploma in Event Management & Public Relations,
achieved at Dublin Business School. Before obtaining my tour guide’s license, I worked in many tourism
positions such as a Cultural Tourism Operator in the city of Alghero and the Welcoming Clerk at a local
campsite. I run a company (www.algheroservice.it) that deals with touristic assistance and advice,
reservations and other services, along with my wife Gosia (she is a Sardinian tour guide N. 3003 and a professional hiking guide too). I organize excursions and we have a dedicated website www.algherotours.com
I am fortunate to know both cultures of the Island: the one of the sea (my mother is
from Alghero, a city on the coast)
and that of the land (my father was born in an inland village in Sardinia). I'm in love with Sardinia, which
I have traveled far and wide, and I love my city of Alghero.
My organisation
Algherotours.com is a project built by licenced guides Antonio Morittu and Malgorzata Lastowska, owners of the company Alghero Service s.a.s. that operates in Sardinia since 2008 with its headquarters in Alghero.
Alghero Tours works for creating unique experiences in Sardinia, promotion of local tourism and for the sharing and discovery of the territory, its culture and history. Also to make the experience to stay in Sardinia easier and pleasurable involving all senses. We created pre-organized tours but are open to make other tailored adventures in order to satisfy all needs. We offer guided visits, both for small groups (2-12 people) or for organised groups for up to 50 that we can manage on demand. The guided services are held in Italian, English, Polish and Catalan but it is also possible to benefit from the help of other colleagues for various languages.
We own a comfortable 9 seats minivan (Renault Trafic) we use to travel with our guests around Sardinia, especially for tailor made trips.
We also own a book company, specialised in novels written by sardinian authors with the registered mark ALEGUORA®
