lgae-based fertilising products are among the low-to-mid range products mentioned in EU Algae Initiative, with a 3-5 years time to market. Also, several European-funded projects are focusing on marketing algae-based fertilising products such as e.g. AlgaeProBanos, REALM, and AlgaeNauts. Such practices represent excellent blue/green solutions supporting zero-carbon low-trophic aquaculture in the North Sea, while often these solutions use circular business models (zero waste approach). In this workshop, we spotlight good practices that successfully market algae fertilising products, e.g. NPK fertilisers and crop biostimulants, using also circular bio-based supply chains.
