Welcome to Waves of Collaboration: Matchmaking for the Mission to Restore Oceans and Waters by 2030!
The matchmaking event will focus on identifying and facilitating the uptake and replication of solutions to implement the Mission Ocean and Waters, with particular focus on supporting Charter signatories in line with the second phase of the Mission towards deployment and scaling-up.
The main part of the event will comprise bilateral meetings between participants from Europe and beyond interested in the same topics, aiming to share new project ideas, find collaboration partners, and accelerate the deployment of solutions in line with the implementation and scaling-up of the Mission.

Format of the event
The networking aspect is the main part of the event, as shown by participant feedback in the past years.
Therefore, throughout the session there will be networking opportunities in several forms:
· Matchmaking activities between participants in the foyers (one-to-one meetings scheduled via a dedicated app) and with additional dedicated networking space in the Mansholt and Jenkins rooms when no session is taking place there;
· An "opportunities stage" will be set up a small stage with a microphone – where selected participants will be able to pitch their project ideas in the search for partners.
