pHotoYOGURT is a patented optical technology (US & EU) developed to measure pH in milk tanks during yogurt fermentation with high accuracy and in real time. It will be the first technology integrated into the potential spinoff OPTICmizing, a company dedicated to optimizing and monitoring critical empirical processes in the food industry through advanced sensor-driven solutions.

By digitizing traditionally empirical processes, OPTICmizing enables manufacturers to improve efficiency, reduce errors, save energy, and standardize product quality, while generating valuable process data for further innovation.

Currently, pHotoYOGURT is being tested with two leading yogurt manufacturers, Cabrianes and Bonarea, with full technology transfer expected within one year. The system provides immediate benefits in process control and optimization and lays the foundation for future research, new product development, and scalable applications across the dairy sector and the broader food industry.

We are now seeking pre-seed investors to support the productization of the sensor, development of the associated software, and commercial launch of this technology.
