Fractionation of biomass into cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin

About
We have expertise in fractionation of waste lignocellulosic biomass using chemical and physical (microwave and ultrasounds) processes to obtain xylose. We are looking for a partnership in which we can use an adequate microorganism to convert xylose isolated from lignocellulosic residues to produce xylitol. Our research group has the infrastructure to optimise fermentation conditions at a pilot scale.
