About
The Institute of Plant Biotechnology has experience in the detection and diagnostic of plant parasites by molecular techniques, characterization of the resistance to insecticides and development of strategies of biocontrol on the farm and during postharvest.
It also has been working on the advances in tools for functional genomics, DNA technology progresses in diagnostic for health and food industry. It is also focused on the use and characterization of germplasm for plant production and recuperation of endangered species.
