Telerehabilitation projects
About
In a world where digital transformation and collaboration are key drivers of progress, we invite you to be part of a disruptive ecosystem. Inspired by cutting-edge European initiatives like Project ROSIA—which unites academia, industry, and public sectors to foster innovation—we invite you to be part of our marketplace for telerehabilitation solutions "Rehabilify".
Rehabilitation services are undergoing a transformative phase, driven by extensive digitization to tackle healthcare challenges among an aging population, rising chronic diseases, and constrained economies. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 2 million people lack access to rehabilitation, often due to financial limitations hindering regular treatment sessions, thereby affecting patient outcomes. In response to these challenges, tele-rehabilitation (TR) emerges as a pivotal solution. TR embodies a healthcare delivery model that enables the assessment, monitoring, intervention, education, and counseling of patients remotely, from the comfort of their homes. This approach not only optimizes healthcare delivery for both patients and providers but also overcomes barriers like geographical distance, mobility constraints, and economic limitations.
With the increasing adoption of TR, numerous studies have evaluated its effectiveness across various conditions. Systematic reviews have concluded that TR programs yield similar efficacy outcomes compared to traditional interventions, with some studies suggesting superior adherence improvement and enhanced quality of life.
TR has demonstrated significant effectiveness in managing diverse chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease (CVD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), spinal cord injury (SCI), acquired brain injury (ABI), and even in COVID-19 recovery. For CVD patients, TR offers a promising solution by improving physical activity levels, reducing dyspnea, and alleviating depression symptoms.
We are seeking an innovative telerehabilitation solution with a TRL minimum of 5-6 and,
What do we offer?
