1st Portuguese-Italian Defence Industries Days

This initiative aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Portugal and Italy in the defence industry by promoting the exchange of information on national procurement programmes, integrating entities into supply chains, and fostering partnerships and consortia for future applications to the European Defence Fund. The event will feature site visits to Italian companies, as well as opportunities for B2B and B2G meetings.

The event is organised by a bilateral partnership between Portugal and Italy, comprising the Embassy of Portugal to Rome, the Directorate-General for National Defence Policy, the Directorate-General for National Defence Resources, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, AICEP Portugal Global, idD Portugal Defence and AED Cluster Portugal, on the Portuguese side, the Secretary-General for Defence and the Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defence and Security (AIAD), on the Italian side.

Participation Guidelines and Accommodation Information

• Participation is limited to one representative per company, with priority given to industrial profiles. All registrations are subject to validation by the organising entities and confirmation of registration.

• Participants are strongly encouraged to stay at the official event hotel, where all logistical and transport support will be centralised. The accommodation package (approx. €355) includes lodging and meals from July 2 (meeting point at Rome airport at 11:30) through lunch on July 3. A booking link will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
