On the 15 of October the first joint interregional call (JIP) was launched (https://unitedigihealth.eu/open-call), and will remain open until 15 January 2026. The challenges of this JIP call are:

  • Advancing More Personalised and Human-Centric Remote Care;

  • Advancing European Health Data Spaces

To participate in the call, applicants must be part of a consortium, which must include at least three organizations from three different regions:

  • a company (or another market-oriented solution developer);

  • research organization supporting the company (from any relevant perspective);

  • an end-user organization that will use or demonstrate the proposed solution (for example, a public entity, living lab, testbed, or healthcare service provider).

For the organization of the consortia, Region Lombardia is attending an Open Ecosystem Event - Startups & Scaleups on 24th of November 2025, from 2.30 p.m. (CET) to 5:45 p.m. (CET) in Milan (IT) at Cascina Triulza - MIND Area (Via Cristina Belgioioso, 171 - 20157 Milan), and online on hybrid mode.
The important aim of this event is to facilitate matchmaking among potential applicants preliminary to the creation of interregional consortia. The event will include activities such as startup pitches, roundtables, group workshops, and more and we are pleased to receive a concrete idea you are ready to advance within the UNITE call. At the moment, we have over 70 Italian participants registered for the event (research organizations, end users, and companies) who are interested in forming a consortium with an international organization, so it is crucial to receive the support of your organization and an active participation during the meeting reporting the following information:

  • main areas of expertise or activities;

  • current place in the value chain and partner types needed;

  • which challenge would you like to address through digital health solutions between “Digital innovations advancing more personalized and human-centric remote care” and “Advancing European Health Data Space” proving the main need you would like to address through digital health solutions and the solution, technology, or expertise you could bring to a potential consortium;

  • which type of partners are you most interested in meeting;

Moreover, please be reminded that to accommodate consortium building UNITE Matchmaking Platform allows you to register on the platform and start creating a “virtual consortium” with other organizations from the partner regions with whom you are interested in initiating an innovative project.
