A resilient European CBRN network

In an era of increasingly complex global threats, the need for effective Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) preparedness has never been more critical.

This keynote speech will explore the vital role of networking in enhancing CBRN response capabilities, by describing the creation of the EU CBRN CoE initiative; the EU’s largest civilian external security programme. The success of this network, as well as key challenges and lessons learned, will be addressed with a focus on the question, “Would this type of network work in Europe?”
