Building a regional defence and healthcare alliance in Northern Jutland

The Danish Defence is facing an increased threat picture and a need for reinforcement. This also applies to the Defence Medical Service, where greater capacity must be built in several areas. At the same time, the Danish healthcare system is facing massive challenges in the coming years due to changing demographics.

This requires innovation in healthcare technologies and an initial dialogue between the Danish Defence and Aalborg University Hospital indicates that support from knowledge institutions for technology development, recruitment and training can unleash a new potential.

This can contribute to making organisations more efficient, innovating new technologies, strengthening employees' skills and attracting companies to develop sought-after solutions.
