Norwegian Wood Cluster SA was established in 2017 and consists of leading industrial enterprises and R&D institutions within the forest industry and construction value chain. The cluster's 35 members have over 16,000 employees and a turnover of over NOK 27 billion, and the cluster is growing. Through closer cooperation, the cluster participants want to further develop wood-based, industrial and sustainable building solutions. Focus areas for the cluster are sustainability, circularity, innovation, digitalisation, skills development and industrialisation.
