Federico Zaghis

Federico Zaghis and Guido Ostanel founded BeccoGiallo Publishing House in 2005 with the goal of publishing nonfiction comic books addressing social issues and civil commitment. The catalog currently boasts approximately 500 volumes, releasing 45 volumes annually, covering a diverse range of collections. These include children’s comics, graphic novels, graphic journalism, nonfiction books, picture books, and entertainment & pop culture titles.

Since 2017, BeccoGiallo has been an integral part of the Fandango Group, a larger publishing conglomerate encompassing other reputable houses such as Coconino Press, Fandango, Playground, and Fandango Film, dedicated to film and TV series production. While the initial focus was on collaborating with Italian artists, our production landscape has evolved. Currently, over a third of our output comprises acquisitions from abroad, notably from France and the United States.

Numerous accolades have been bestowed upon our publications, with many also receiving translations for international audiences. The headquarters of BeccoGiallo is situated in Padua.
