Identification novel modulators of Huntington's Disease & application direct reprogramming-based in vitro model derived from patient

About me

  1. Currently - Process Engineer & PhD student:

    • Lukasiewicz Research Network - PORT, Mechanisms of Neurodegeneration Group;

    • Wroclaw Medical University, Faculty of Pharmacy;

  2. B.Sc. & M.Sc. diploma:

    • Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Chemistry, Biotechnology, pharmaceutical specialization.

My PhD thesis is as a part of SONATA BIS grant: Identification of novel disease modifiers in Huntington’s disease: neuro-glia interactions in the patient-derived multidimentional model. The project is being carried out at Lukasiewicz Research Network – PORT. We focus on identification of novel modulators of Huntington's Disease (HD) and validation using direct reprogramming-based in vitro model derived from patient. In vitro results will be validated in an organismal context in HD mouse model.

Both my Bachelor and Master Thesis regarded the widely approached topics of cell biology; both papers were realised in student scientific club Cancer Cell Biology at Medical University of Wroclaw. As a summary of my diploma thesises, I published two articles:
