SOILL - Online Matchmaking for Soil Health Living Labs and Lighthouses

The EU Mission “A Soil Deal for Europe” (Mission Soil) aims to establish a network of 100 Living Labs (LLs) and Lighthouses (LHs) to lead the transition toward healthier soils. This initiative promotes sustainable soil management through a collaborative, structured approach, with a strong focus on Soil Health Living Labs.

To support the development of this network, the SOILL Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) was created. Its purpose is to implement a centralized support structure for LLs and LHs through a series of SOILL projects, beginning with SOILL-Startup. This support spans a range of activities, including capacity building, coordination, networking, promotion, and knowledge exchange.

Among these activities, SOILL aims to to facilitate collaboration and creation of matchmaking opportunities through the SOILL Online Matchmaking platform.

To reach the goal fo 100 Living Labs, each year, the Mission Soil publishes specific funding opportunities to set up Soil Health Living Labs.

Through the SOILL Online Matchmaking platform, it is possible to identify collaboration opportunities, particularly for the stakeholders interested in applying to the topics related to the setting up of Soil Health Living Labs:
